A lapis and two Andean Blue turquoise stones are combined in a contemporary collar necklace. The stones are cut into puffed squares and set in frames of sterling silver. Two solid silver squares and eight open squares adorn the rest of the collar. From each side, a sterling chain extends to the hook and extender closure. The turquoise is deep blue-green with moderate spots of matrix and the lapis contains flecks of pyrite. The stabilized turquoise was mined in Chile and the untreated lapis was mined in Afghanistan.
