A large pear shaped charoite doublet is bezel set in sterling silver and connected to a cushion cut Andean Blue turquoise cabochon. Attached to the back of this is a small hidden bail. Charoite is a beautiful purple stone that exhibits swirls and a fibrous internal texture. The Andean Blue is blue-green with a bit of light brown matrix. This pendant is designed to be used on a chain, due to its small bail. The pendant measures 2 1/16" long and 7/8" wide. The charoite was mined in Russia and the stabilized turquoise was mined in Chile.
