Labradorite


Labradorite is a feldspar which has a beautiful iridescence. The color range includes white, yellow, green, brown, colorless, blue and grey. In labradorite the iridescent play of light often has a dazzling blue hue called labradorescence. Labradorite was first found in 1770 on the Labrador Peninsula in Canada where crystals several feet across have been found.

Feldspars are a group of closely related minerals that together are the most abundant mineral in the Earth's crust.  Other popular gemstone grade feldspars include moonstone, amazonite, sunstone and aventurine. Sunstone, moonstone and spectrolite all display iridescence.

The energy of labradorite facilitates the transformation of intuition into intellectual though such that one can easily implement and/all instructions provided.  It assists one to traverse changes, attracting strength and perseverance.  It has been known as the matriarch of the inner self, providing instructive sessions with respect to implementation of inner messages and the utilization of same in the physical domain.  It can help to provide clarity to the inner sight, instilling a passionless feeling of the peace of imperturbability via the annihilation of disturbing thoughts.
